5 Ways To Use Video For Your Brand

Video retains attention better than any other form of marketing

Think about all media has having value for gaining attention. Such as, photos give you “+5 attention points”, music gives +5, etc. If you analyze all the mediums used in video content, it offers the most attention points. So by this point, it’s simple math for getting the most attention. Sometimes the music is what pulls you into the video, while other times it’s the emotion provoking images — and having the most attention points will give you the best chance to be memorable.

Use video for your company, brand, or message

I hate to go on and on about if you should use video, so let’s move to how to use video.

  1. Go Live on Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, or whatever platform you will reach your target audience. This is a great way to be yourself and connect with people who are really excited about your brand. The camera and lighting quality isn’t important for this medium. The only detail to give attention to is how your noisy your environment is. Clear audio creates good vibes for engaging with people.

  2. Hire a Videographer to create a well crafted story, commercial, or demonstration to promote your product or service. My best suggestion to you if you’re concerned about cost is to simply ask. Simply ask what someone can do for a budget that you have in mind and go from there. If the budget isn’t right for both parties then talk about it. I am always open to have conversations and really figure out what’s best for you and your budget.

  3. Phone a Friend that has some skills in social media or video creating. They may be willing to help you out in a way that benefits everyone. (just don’t expect the same quality as actually hiring someone)

  4. Take a Class on making videos. This can be as simple as signing up for SkillShare.com or just looking up YouTube videos on how to use iMovie or the creator tools on TikTok/Instagram.

  5. Use an App like Unfold or Over to animate your still images. This is a great way to make your photos have some added motion and sound that may help in captivating your audience.

Creating video doesn’t have to be overwhelming. If you want really high quality or this all just seems like too much then I highly recommend making a budget and contacting someone like me to help you out. If that’s you, send me an email here.
